Donations from Sponsors

We are always grateful for the privilege of having the support of the DCC, our sponsors, and well-wishers. Early this year we received much-needed support towards the purchase of more textbooks, porridge for the preprimary classes, and nutritional lunches.

Textbooks

Thanks to our sponsors we were able to purchase textbooks for the Grade 5 and 6 classes.

Porridge for Pre-primary pupils

We continue to provide porridge to the PP1 and 2 pupils. The feedback from the parents is that they are very happy their children can get 10’oclock porridge every day.

Lunches

We are also grateful to our sponsors and DCC for the lunches provided.

March 2022-End of Academic year 2021

March 2022 saw the curtains fall on the academic year 2021. Schools were closed for a period of 9 weeks. It had been a very busy year for all and so, naturally, this was a time of refreshing and unwinding. To all of us, staff and pupils of DGS, it was a good year juggling the demands of the new curriculum CBC and seeing the old 8-4-4 system slowly fading away.  As the school closed parents came in good numbers to collect the progress reports from the respective teachers. We all went home looking forward to the new academic year 2022 just a few weeks away in April.
